Location: Se Siwá Eco Lodge & Bribri territory

The Pulling Rock ceremony is an opportunity to be present with our community and witness firsthand the essence, strength, and spirituality of our people. The ceremony reveals how we come together—in unity, cooperation, and collective effort—to move a great stone from one place to another, where it will be used as a sacred grinding stone.
The journey of the stone is accompanied by rituals, ceremonial practices, and important details that cannot be overlooked, so that the ceremony is blessed and remains faithful to the guidance and mandates of our spiritual traditions.
The ceremony is led by Bribri spiritual authorities, together with the women and men who are keepers and teachers of traditional knowledge.
This experience includes one night stay at Se Siwá Eco Lodge, four meals, transportation to the ceremony, and a talk regarding the significance of the ceremony. Contact Gamita by email, WhatsApp or through the contact form to book your spot.
