Be Welcome
Se Siwá Eco Lodge was envisioned as a place for community and elders to gather and stay while travelling through the territory, and as a place to host visitors who desire to genuinely connect with the Bribri & Cabécar indigenous way of life.
The lodge sits at the edge of the primary forest on a mountain that our family has stewarded for generations. This sacred mountain is an important ecological zone and serves as a corridor for jaguars, other wild cats and many keystone species.
The lodge offers the opportunity to stay in the territory, eat delicious traditional meals, and engage in a multitude of cultural experiences. Come and disconnect from the world, with the option to reconnect with a strong Starlink wifi signal.
The lodge offers simple and basic accommodation, and typically appeals to people comfortable sleeping in a rustic setting and interacting with nature. We can host up to 10 people in 3 dormitory style rooms with single and bunk beds.
We specialize in creating customized experiences based on your interests and welcome your inquiries. On the Cultural Experiences page, you can find several example itineraries for how to make the most of your time on the mountain.
